Insisting that she didn't plagiarize PAKK RiLey and Toke Ruffin's 2020 song, the 'Bodak Yellow' hitmaker posts a screen-recording of a note on her phone with 'Hot S**t' lyrics dated back on March 15, 2020.

AceShowbiz - Cardi B has shut down a plagiarism allegation against her. After an artist called PAKK RiLey accused her of ripping off his 2020 song "Hot S**t" with Toke Ruffin for her 2022 track of the same name, the "WAP" hitmaker shared receipts on social media to prove that she's innocent.

Making use of Twitter, PAKK shared a video with both songs being played to highlight their alleged similarities. "She done did it again, ya'll. You know what I'm saying? She done took another song," he said.

Catching wind of the post, Cardi unleashed a screen-recording of a note on her phone with "Hot S**t" lyrics. It was dated back on March 15, 2020. "Now look at the date when I wrote this song," she penned in a since-deleted tweet. "Waiting on my engineer to send me the file of my voice with the dates ….MUNCHER."

Not stopping there, the wife of Offset also posted a demo of her single dated May 5, 2020. PAKK's "Hot S**t", meanwhile, arrived on streaming services in November that year.

In February 2021, Cardi was accused of ripping off New Jersey rap duo Mir Fontane and Mir Pesos over similarities between the hooks on her song and theirs. "@iamcardib we want my money," the duo wrote on Twitter.

Denying the allegations, she argued, "F**k the drama. RUN THE NUMBERS UP!!!" She then uploaded a video from her Instagram Live session where she previewed the song on August 7, a month before the duo released their music video.

Fontane was quick to respond. He noted that, while their music video premiered in September, they previewed their song a month prior and "recorded it even earlier than that, Respectfully." He also showed the video where they played a snippet of their song.

Cardi, however, insisted, "Naaa im the type of person that avoids problems & court days. If i get inspired by a song I wouldn't mind giving a percentage or couple of thousand but I never Hurd if this man." She added, "I'm glad while I was recording this song in August I was playing wit the hook on this live."

She also pointed out that she's not the producer so if someone had issues with a beat, she suggested the person "take it up" with the producer.
