AceShowbiz - Heather Locklear was barely recognizable during one of her latest outings. Making a rare public appearance in Los Angeles earlier this week, the actress looked so much different with a puffy face.
The Amanda Woodward depicter on 1990s hit series "Melrose Place" was almost unrecognizable when she stepped out to run errands in Calabasas on Monday, September 12. Her face was noticeably swollen and unusually plump as she went barefaced.
The 60-year-old, who will turn 61 on September 25, dressed down in a white tank top and ripped army green overalls with her long blonde hair being let loose and blown by the wind. She teamed her casual outfit with a pair of black flip-flops.
The "Dynasty" alum had her beloved white Maltese, Mister, tucked under her arm and carried a brown paper bag. At one point seemed lost in thought as she left a local shop.
Despite her different look, it doesn't seem that Heather recently went under the knife. Daily Mail, which obtained the photos, consulted with Beverly Hills plastic surgeon Dr. Charles S. Lee to try to determine the reason for her swollen appearance, but he did not believe it to be the result of a cosmetic procedure. The surgeon told the site that he did not see any indication of a plastic surgery or Botox treatment on the actress.
Heather has kept a low profile following a series of legal problems and mental health issue that landed her in a mental health facility in recent years. She, however, has since got her life back on track now and recently celebrated over two and half years of sobriety.
Heather last made her red carpet appearance in October 2021 when she attended the premiere of her Lifetime TV movie "Don't Sweat the Small Stuff: The Kristine Carlson Story". She was last photographed in public at an Easter Sunday party with fiancee Chris Heisser five months ago.
