AceShowbiz - Congratulations are in order for Vanessa Villela and Nick Hardy. Around eight months after getting engaged, the "Selling Sunset" star and her fiance finally tied the knot in a "magical and cinematic" wedding.
The 44-year-old and the photographer exchanged vows at the Fairmont Grand Del Mar in San Diego, California on September 3. "We wanted the event to be intimate yet grand, and to create something that would blow people's minds. Just like our love, this event had to reflect their fairytale love story," they told Brides.
"When the rings were requested, no one knew who had them!" the pair added. "The ceremony stopped and the flower girls appeared from the back. They arrived, but they didn't have the rings. At that point the page boy, Lucas St John ran out shouting, 'I have the rings!' He walked down the aisle holding a custom-made golden crystallized box by Elena Honch from the Ukraine containing both."
During their nuptials, Vanessa gave her "gorgeous husband" a surprise gift, "which was a heart locket engraved with forever together and our wedding date." She detailed, "Inside, it had a picture of him with his late grandmama who he loves deeply and one of our first photos together. But before I gave it to him, he asked me to close my eyes and he gave me a beautiful bracelet for me to wear in our wedding. As always, we both had a surprise for each other."
Nick proposed to Vanessa on January 30 at sunset at the Griffith Observatory in Los Angeles. Sharing pictures and a video of the happy moment, she exclaimed, "Two souls one heart! I SAID YESSSSSS."
"One year ago I met the man of my dreams the one makes my heart skip every time, the man that makes me better in every single way, the man that I respect, adore, admire, and love with all my heart," the luxury real estate agent continued raving. "You came into my life when I least expected it and you came to make my dreams come true."
"Our love story is like a movie and you are my prince!! I always dreamed that I will find someone that will love the way I do and I could give my heart fully, thank youuu for coming into my life mi amore!" the TV personality declared. "You are my best friend, my man, my pajaro, my hero, my everything."
