In a new interview, the 46-year-old singer/TV star talks about how her daughter Riley has been body-shamed by fans of the Bravo reality show throughout the years.

AceShowbiz - "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" star Kandi Burruss is the latest Housewife to talk about how Bravo fans are bullying her children. In an interview on Tuesday, August 30, the 46-year-old singer/TV star shared that her daughter Riley has been body-shamed throughout the years.
"I despise it. It bothers me so much," Kandi told PEOPLE of the social media harassment. "Everybody already knows that Riley dealt with her weight issues growing up in the public eye. People would make comments on her body and say things about her personal look and it really boils my blood."
The Xscape singer went on to say that as a reality TV star, she "can deal with anything." However, she noted that her kids should be off limits as she would never want her kids to be "bullied online."
"The people who watch our show and who are on our show, sometimes they take things too far, and it's not cool," the mom of three added. "It's crazy. This is a TV show at the end of the day. Words definitely matter. I've seen one of my kids definitely get bullied multiple times."
Riley was 7 when Kandi first joined "The Real Housewives of Atlanta". She is now 20 years old, but that doesn't mean the trolling has stopped. Kandi revealed that just last week, "somebody was posting that [Riley] was pregnant and she was so upset about it."
"She was like, 'Where are they getting this information from? Here I was feeling good about myself and losing and getting my body where I want it to be, and now they're posting that I'm pregnant?' That's crazy!" Kandi continued ranting.
Kandi's interview arrived after "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star Garcelle Beauvais shared an emotional message in which she revealed that her son Jax received racist comments from Bravo fans amid her feud with her co-stars. Slamming the trolls, "The Real" co-host wrote, "I'm usually a very strong woman I've been raised to be strong my life has taught me to be strong but when it comes to my kids! It hurts it's not OK." Some of her co-stars also condemned the bullying.
Bravo, meanwhile, reacted to the bullying by issuing a statement. The network said, "We are shocked and appalled at the social comments directed at Garcelle's son. We urge our viewers and social media followers to refrain from targeting our cast and their families with harmful rhetoric."
