The 24-year-old Atlanta rapper, who is signed to Lil Baby's 4PF label, claims 'the news is not always right' after he's arrested for a connection to a shooting that injured a toddler.

AceShowbiz - Lil Baby's artist Dirty Tay has been involved in a serious crime. The Atlanta rapper has been arrested after allegedly shooting a 3-year-old boy in the head during a drive-by shooting in his hometown.
Dirty Tay, whose real name is Kentavious Wright, was wanted in connection to a shooting that injured a toddler in Atlanta on August 3. He was arrested during a traffic stop on Friday, August 19 and booked into the Fulton County Jail on aggravated assault, attempted murder, cruelty to children and gang-related charges.
According to Atlanta police officials, a father and his son were leaving a barbershop at the 1200 block of Lee Street NW in southwest Atlanta when the father noticed a blue Kia Optima "driving erratically" and possibly following them. The vehicle eventually pulled up to their side and someone inside the car started firing shots.
The 3-year-old boy was struck in the head and taken to a hospital. Another child was allegedly in the vehicle as well, but did not suffer any injuries. The shooting occurred at the intersection of Peters Street and Chapel Street. Dirty Tay is suspected as the man firing the shots. Police believe the shooting was "targeted" with the intent to obtain, earn membership, maintain or increase status in a criminal street gang.
A spokesperson with Atlanta Fire and Rescue told CBS46 News, "The dad took the boy to Fire Station 14 on Lee Street at 4:02 P.M. Per fire, the boy is 3 years old. Fire officials also confirmed the boy was conscious, breathing, and alert when Grady EMS transported him to Egleston (Children's Health of Atlanta)."
The boy reportedly underwent a surgery to remove the bullet from his head and survived. His grandfather Regis Yates said of the toddler, "He was real lucky."
Dirty Tay, who is signed to Lil Baby's 4PF label, has denied the shooting claims though. Taking to his Instagram Story on Wednesday, August 24, the 24-year-old rapper maintained his innocence as writing, "I'm innocence the news is not always right don't bash me because of allegations."
