The 'Don't Let Me Down' artist previously revealed in a TikTok video that the Atlanta rapper punched him in the face after he kissed the hip-hop star on the cheek while they're vibing at a party.

AceShowbiz - T.I. has responded to The Chainsmokers' member Drew Taggart claiming that the rapper punched him at a party after the former kissed the hip-hop star. The Atlanta star took to his Instagram account to clarify the matter, noting that it's all love between them despite the incident.
"Love The Chainsmokers, man, they make great music," T.I. said in a Wednesday, August 17 video while laughing. He also mentioned that there's "not much more to the story."
In the video, the "Whatever You Like" spitter went on to claim that he and The Chainsmokers had a drink after the incident and "moved on." Further proving that there's no bad blood between them, the "T.I. & Tiny: The Family Hustle" star invited the EDM duo to join him on his platform "expediTIously".
On Tuesday, Drew alleged in a TikTok video that T.I. punched him in the face at a party after he kissed the MC on the cheek. "T.I. just literally punched me in the face," the 32-year-old musician revealed in a clip which was titled, "When meeting T.I. goes wrong."
Recounting the incident, Drew continued, "We're in a vibe and I, like, gave him a kiss on the cheek, it was totally my fault." As his group mate Alex Pall was heard laughing in the background, he added, "And he was like, 'Don't do that,' and I was like, 'OK,' and he pushed me off. I was like, 'Alright, my bad.' He punched me in the face, and I was like, 'OK, I'm sorry,' and he was like, 'Alright, cool, we're good.' It was the weirdest interaction ever."
The "Takeaway" artist admitted that he was in the wrong during the fiasco. "T.I. is fully in the right here," he defended the rapper. "I was like, feeling the vibes way too hard, and I kissed T.I. on the cheek, and he punched me in the face for it. It's fully fine."
Internet users, meanwhile, had mixed reactions to the whole thing. Some fans defended Drew with one writing in the comments section, "ur just comfortable with ur sexuality, nothin wrong with a kiss on the cheek."
However, others deemed Drew's action inappropriate as he did it without consent. "BOUNDARIES!!! Can't be kissing people without consent my boy, you know better! Lol," one said, while another person similarly added, "What vibe were y'all feeling that you thought it be ok to kiss TI on the cheek."
