The 'RHOA' alum makes use of her Instagram account to urge people not to believe 'incorrect conclusions' after her 20-year-old daughter allegedly admitted to vaping THC the night before she was arrested.

AceShowbiz - Kim Zolciak-Biermann has addressed her daughter Ariana Biermann's recent DUI arrest. Taking to Instagram Story, the former star of "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" jumped to the 20-year-old's defense as she insisted that Ariana was "not impaired by any substance, including alcohol or marijuana."

The 44-year-old reality TV star wrote on Tuesday, August 16, "Ariana was involved in a minor fender bender. When police arrived on the scene, the investigating officer immediately initiated an investigation for DUI of alcohol." She continued, "Despite Ariana's constant invocation that she was upset and anxious from the minor accident, the officer incorrectly concluded she was impaired. That was not the case."

When it comes to Ariana admitting to vaping THC, Kim argued, "Since she was being cooperative and honest, she admitted to consuming marijuana the day before, meaning over 24 hours prior to her contact with the law." She also added, "The arresting officer, as evidenced by his own police report, charged Ariana with impairment by alcohol. She wholly denies these allegations and intends to fight these charges because she is not guilty of them."

Concluding her message, the Bravo personality wrote, "We appreciate the general public allowing this case to be tried on its merits, and not rhetoric or incorrect conclusions."

Kim's message arrived after a police report stated that Ariana admitted to smoking a "THC vape pen the night before" while she denied consuming alcohol before driving. It was also revealed that Ariana refused to take both breathalyzer and a blood test when she was arrested in Georgia on Saturday, August 13 after colliding with another vehicle while driving.

"I advised [Ariana] that I could smell the odor of an alcoholic beverage on her breath. She stated the odor was possibly from her clothing," the officer detailed in the document. "I conducted field sobriety evaluations with Ariana and observed signs of impairment. I observed that she had a noticeable sway during the evaluations." The police officer added that a fellow officer conducted a Horizontal Gaze Nystagmus (HGN) test and "observed four out of six clues."

Additionally, the "Don't Be Tardy..." alum allegedly refused when she was asked "to provide a breath sample to the preliminary breath test." The reality TV star initially agreed to do a blood test, but she later changed her mind when she was taken to jail.

Ariana and her high school boyfriend Hudson McLeroy were busted for DUI in Georgia. She was cited with driving under the influence of alcohol, underage possession/purchase of alcohol and misdemeanor improper/erratic lane change before being released from prison after posting a $5,120 bond.

In response to the arrest, her lawyer, Justin Spizman, said in a statement, "Ariana was involved in a minor fender bender. When police arrived on scene, the investigating officer immediately initiated an investigation for DUI. Despite Ariana's constant invocation that she was upset and anxious from the minor accident, the officer incorrectly concluded she was impaired by alcohol. That was not the case. She wholly denies these allegations and intends to fight these charges because she is not guilty of them."
