Defending himself, restaurant owner Mark Elkhouri explains that 'the whole idea or the whole concept was to kind of celebrate Kanye West and show a different side of his music.'

AceShowbiz - Kanye West reportedly has sent a cease and desist letter to a local restaurant for using the name of his debut album, "The College Dropout". However, instead of feeling threatened by the "N***as in Paris" emcee's demand, College Dropout Burgers poked fun at the rapper.

Making use of Instagram, restaurant owner Mark Elkhouri shared screenshots of articles about the issue. "Made the @xxl Mixtape coming soon. 'Call me Ye!!! You still ain't called me? Ye, I know you got killers. Please don't send them at my head. Please call me," so read the caption of the first photo.

In the second one, Mark penned, "@hot97 'I am the number 1 most impactful burger artist of our generation!! I AM RONALD MCDONALD IN THE FLESH, COLONEL SANDERS!!! BURGER KING!!! IN-N-OUT!!!' " The owner added, " 'That statement is not legally binding' Regards, Mark. Ye!!! Call me!!! @kanyewest."

Mark, however, already confirmed that he planned on removing any and all references to the ex-husband of Kim Kardashian, including names of their items and logo. He then explained the reason why he used the theme, "The whole idea or the whole concept was to kind of celebrate Kanye West and show a different side of his music, and artwork and fashion line."

"This is the guy that I kind of get my creative inspiration from. Anyone that is a fan of Kanye West and his music would kind of understand he actually does seek inspiration from other artists," the entrepreneur continued. "So I was kind of like 'OK, well I don't sing, I don't rap, what I do is kind of like another form of art, and I believe it's modern-day art, which is food.' "

Kanye has yet to issue a public statement regarding the matter.
