Sixteen years after tying the knot with the "One Too Many" hitmaker, the star of "Nine Perfect Strangers" unleashed a rare photo taken from her nuptials to commemorate the special day in her marital life.
On Saturday, June 25, the 55-year-old actress made use of her Instagram account to share the special picture. Along with it, she penned in the caption, "Sweet XVI." She further added in the same caption, "Remember this like it was yesterday. Forever."
The photo shared saw Nicole lighting candles together with Keith during their church ceremony. The "Big Little Lies" actress looked stunning in her white bridal gown with a long veil draped over her back, while her country music star husband could be seen donning a classic black suit.
The throwback snap has since gained over 200,000 likes from Nicole's followers, including one from "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" alum Kris Jenner. In the comment section, many Instagram users also sent their congratulatory messages to Nicole and Keith for another year of marriage.
Keith, on his part, also posted a sweet snap of him and Nicole on the same day. The country music crooner posted an Instagram picture that saw him posing beside his wife as they smiled at the camera. He was rocking a blue T-shirt and a hat, whereas his wife wore a star-print black dress and a straw hat. "HAPPY SWEET 16 BABY xxxxx," the 54-year-old wrote in his caption.
Nicole and Keith tied the knot in Sydney, Australia, in 2006. The couple has since welcomed two daughters, 13-year-old Sunday and 11-year-old Faith. Nicole herself has two other children, 29-year-old Isabella and 27-year-old Connor, with ex-husband Tom Cruise.
The happy couple is known to have supported each other through their relationship. During Keith's show at The Colloseum, Nicole was seen joining him onstage. They were captured on camera embracing each other with Keith giving Nicole a kiss on her cheek afterward. The singer later posted the recording of their sweet moment on his Instagram account.
