In one viral TikTok video, fans share 'proof' that the reality TV star's accent is not as she claimed during her appearance in season five reunion of 'Selling Sunset'.

AceShowbiz - Chelsea Lazkani fails to convince fans that her accent is real. After her appearance on "Selling Sunset" reunion, the reality TV star's wedding video went viral, reigniting fans' suspicion about her fake accent.
Recently, a TikTok user uploaded a video that compiled the reunion footage and Chelsea's 2017 wedding video. In the wedding part of the video, the TV personality star's accent did not sound as strong as in the reunion clip. The user captioned the video by writing, "Proof Chelsea IS faking her accent."
Fans have been doubtful that Chelsea's accent was real. Before the video became viral, she had actually addressed the issue. "So clearly, everyone thinks I'm faking my accent," she clarified to host Tan France during the season five reunion of the reality show, "My parents are Nigerian, so I grew up in a household where my parents had an accent, right?"
"I lived in London for the first 10 years of my life. Then, I moved to Switzerland. And then, I moved to New Jersey. Then, I moved to New York. And now, I live in Los Angeles," the 29-year-old further explained. "I'm working on it. But this is me, OK? This is what you're getting. I'm not faking it. If I was, I'd be a really f**king good actress."
Back in April, Chelsea also straightened out the matter using a short video uploaded via her Instagram Story. In the since-expired Story, she said, "The word on the street is that my accent is fake. I know it's all over the place but listen there's an explanation, OK?"
"I've lived in four countries in my short 29 years of life. I've lived in London, I've lived in Switzerland, I've lived in New Jersey," Chelsea went on stating. "I now live in Los Angeles so my accent is a mish-mosh of all the places I've lived but I'm a London girl at heart."
