The former 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' star previously divulged that she lost 16 pounds in three weeks so that she could fit into Marilyn Monroe's iconic dress for the event.

AceShowbiz - Kim Kardashian can now loosen up her diet after attending the 2022 Met Gala. Admitting that she gave up sugar and carbs weeks before the special event, the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" alum said she's "so excited" to eat donuts and pizza again.

"So after the Met, I am starving," the 41-year-old said on Monday, May 2, while showing off the donut bar set up by The Doughnuttery via her Instagram Story. "And my favorite donuts in the entire world, in New York City are these mini donuts. Oh, my God, you guys, I have them in the room! How cute is this?"

Kim went on to show off the stacks of pizzas on her table. She then exclaimed, "Guys, I haven't had carbs or sugar in almost a month. Definitely [not for] three weeks. And this pizza … I'm so excited!"

At this year's Met Gala, Kim, who appeared alongside Pete Davidson at the event, rocked the exact same gown that Marilyn Monroe wore when the latter sang "Happy Birthday" to President John F. Kennedy in May 1962. She admitted that she lost 16 lbs in three weeks to fit into the dress.

Speaking to Vogue correspondent La La Anthony on the red carpet, "The Kardashians" star said, "Well this is Marilyn Monroe's dress and it is 60 years old and she wore this when she sang 'Happy Birthday' to President John F. Kennedy in 1962. I had this idea to try it on and then they came with armed guards and gloves."

"I tried it on and it didn't fit me. I said, 'Give me three weeks.' I had to lose 16 pounds down today," the ex-wife of Kanye West continued dishing. "It was such a challenge. It was like a [movie] role. I was determined to fit [into] it. I haven't had carbs or sugar in about three weeks. We're having pizza and donut party back at the hotel [after the Met Gala]."

The dress, which originally cost $12,000, was designed by Jean Louis and has 6,000 hand-sewn crystals on. Marilyn is said to have had to be sewn into it for her performance for President Kennedy, just three months before she died in August 1962 at the age of 36.
