Pete Davidson Helps Kim Kardashian as She Trips Over Her Gown at White House Correspondents Dinner

In a clip shared on Twitter, the 41-year-old former star of 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' is seen stumbling back as she walks through the lobby of the Washington Hilton Hotel.

AceShowbiz - Kim Kardashian had a minor accident when attending the White House Correspondents' Association Dinner with boyfriend Pete Davidson. In a video taken from the Saturday, April 30 event, the SKIMS founder was seen tripping on her gown.

In the clip shared on Twitter, Kim was seen stumbling back as she walked through the lobby of the Washington Hilton Hotel. Her boyfriend Pete was quick to assist his girlfriend.

Kim grabbed the "Saturday Night Live" comedian's arm for support. Despite the mishap, the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" alum looked unfazed as she and the comic went on walking around the corner amid a crowd of guests.

"I literally just saw Kim Kardashian and Pete Davison and she almost fell," a Twitter user wrote in the caption of her video.

For the star-studded event, the 41-year-old opted to show off her famous curves in her rhinestone-covered silver Balenciaga gown. As for Pete, he looked dapper in a classic black Prada suit which he paired with a white dress shirt and a skinny black tie.

The event marked the first time for the couple hitting the red carpet together. On the red carpet, the Staten Island native was captured nuzzling his nose in Kim's hair after whispering a humorous remark in her ear. He also had his arm around his lady.

The White House Correspondents Dinner returned this year after being canceled two years in a row due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Other guests attending the gala were Drew Barrymore, Martha Stewart, Chris Tucker, Brooke Shields and Michael Keaton. Kim, meanwhile, was invited as a guest of ABC as her new reality show "The Kardashians" is now streaming on Hulu.

Trevor Noah hosted the gala, which was headlined by President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden.
