The ‘Aston Martin Music’ rapper previously slammed the Canadian hip-hop star on social media for releasing his album 'DAYSTAR' on September 25, 2020.

AceShowbiz - Rick Ross proved that he's a man of his words. More than a year after declaring that he will give Tory Lanez a smart car, the "Aston Martin Music" rapper finally kept his promise.

On Saturday, April 30, Ross and Lanez shared a video of themselves sipping on a couple bottles of Belaire. In the clip, the Canadian hip-hop star shouted, "We finally got the smart car! You know what it is!"

It all started after Ross slammed Lanez for dropping his album "DAYSTAR" on September 25, 2020. "Tory Lanez, poor decision brother dropping that project," he argued at that time. "This is out of respect for Breonna Taylor, just out of respect for Breonna Taylor, brother."

"You gotta respect these sisters. That ain't how you address the accusations. That was a poor choice, homie. You ain't get no money off that s**t," the record executive said. He later stated in another video, "Hey, I just bought a car for Tory Lanez. I gotta gift for the album release. That's you. I heard you just went double acrylic on Datpiff."

In response, Lanez said, "I respect u 2 much as a black man to disrespect you in these times, however I went out and marched 9 DAYS STRAIT for Breonna Taylor ..IN YOUR CITY," he explained. "I didn't see the 'boss' out there once ?…also stop tagging your endorsements in post about her. It's a poor decision @RickRoss."

Fast forward to September 2021, Lanez called out Ross publicly for not giving the smart car as he'd promised. "Bruh …. this n***a @RickRoss still ain't gave me that smart car," he tweeted. "I think he thought cause we was both rich I wasn't gone ACTUALLY ask for it after the fact lol ….. where's my car Rick ? Lololol."
