AceShowbiz - Jared Padalecki is recuperating at home after a "very bad" car crash. According to his "Supernatural" co-star Jensen Ackles, the Sam Winchester depicter on the hit series is "doing OK" after the near-death road accident.

Jared missed a "Supernatural" fan convention on Sunday, April 24 after he was involved in a crash. While speaking to the crowd at the event, his co-star Jensen said, "[Jared] sends his love. I spoke with him yesterday. He's sad he can't be here." Jensen later assured fans, "But he is doing ok, and he's moving around. But yeah, [it was a] really, really bad car accident."

Sharing more details, Jensen continued, "He was in a very bad car accident. He wasn't driving. He was in the passenger seat, and he's lucky to be alive." The "My Bloody Valentine 3-D" actor further explained, "That airbag packs a punch. He's like, 'I feel like I went 12 rounds with [Mike Tyson],' " before concluding, "Just keep him in your thoughts, send him some love if you get a chance on social [media] and he'll be back with us soon. He'll be back messing up mic stands before we know it. It'll be great."
