AceShowbiz - Rihanna is reportedly not in the best state following A$AP Rocky's latest scandal. The pregnant singer has been crying non-stop and was forced to cancel a planned baby shower after her soon-to-be-baby daddy was arrested at LAX, according to a source.
"Rihanna was there when Rocky was arrested and has been crying non-stop," the source told The Sun. "She's heavily pregnant and these are very serious accusations, it's a nightmare scenario for her."
RiRi allegedly planned to host a celebration for the impending arrival of her first child with the rapper on Wednesday night, April 20 in Los Angeles, but had to cancel it at last minute after Rocky got arrested earlier that day. "It was meant to be Rihanna's baby shower in L.A. on Wednesday night but they had to cancel," the source revealed.
"Rihanna was very, very upset and stressed by Rocky's arrest," the informant further dished on Rih's current emotional state. "It's not the best time for her to be on such an emotional rollercoaster."
Rocky was arrested at LAX on Wednesday, April 20 by the Los Angeles Police Department upon his arrival from Barbados with Rihanna. The arrest stemmed from an alleged shooting that occurred in November last year. He was released several hours later after posting a $550k bail.
ET Online later reported that Rihanna was taken aback by how "things seem out of her control" following the rapper's arrest. "This arrest was not something they saw coming," the source said on Thursday. Pointing out how the Barbadian beauty has been trying to handle her pregnancy on her own terms, the source added, "Rihanna made a point to navigate the public side of her pregnancy on her own terms and now suddenly things seem out of her control."
"This drama is the last thing Rihanna needs right now," the source said of the Fenty Beauty founder. As to how she reacted to the news, the source dished, "She wants to be mellow, relaxed, and focused 100 percent on the arrival of her baby -- not stressing out!"
