Before deleting his social media account, the Bravolebrity shares a cryptic quote that reads, 'Your life is your responsibility,' and a clip of him dancing to a song lyric that says, 'Don't hit the black woman.'

AceShowbiz - Mike Shouhed is taking time away from social media. The "Shahs of Sunset" star has decided to delete his Instagram account after he was arrested for an alleged domestic violence incident.

Prior to taking down his account on Monday, April 4, the 43-year-old reality star shared a cryptic post that read, "Your life is your responsibility. Your success is your responsibility. Your failure is your responsibility. Your reaction is your responsibility. Your behavior is your responsibility." He also posted a clip of himself dancing along in his car to a Spanish song by Joe Arroyo titled "Rebelion". The song has a lyric that says, "No le pegue a la negra," which translates in English to "Don't hit the black woman."

As of Monday morning, Mike appeared to still be following his fiancee, Paulina Ben-Cohen. It is unclear whether his soon-to-be bride was involved in the domestic violence incident.

According to arrest records obtained by Page Six, Mike was taken into police custody on March 27. The Los Angeles Police Department confirmed to the outlet on Monday that West Valley officers responded to a call of "unknown" trouble at approximately 10 P.M. local time at the time.

Mike was later arrested for "intimate partner violence with injury," which an LAPD public information officer explained is another legal term for domestic violence. It is used when there's "visible injury" on the victim.

Mike was charged with corporal injury on a spouse or cohabitant, which is a felony, per the sheriff's department. The Bravolebrity was given a $50,000 bond and held until 6:35 A.M., at which point he was released for paying the money. He is due back in court on July 25.

Following his arrest, Mike's attorney, Alex Kessel, told the outlet that Mike denies all the allegations. "My own investigation reveals no acts of domestic violence was committed by my client," said the lawyer. "I have no doubt Mike will be exonerated. Please honor the presumption of innocence."

The run-in with the law came after Mike was involved in a sexting scandal. Last May, his fiancee Paulina found his NSFW texts with another woman on his phone. Though he initially blamed a hacker for the raunchy messages, he finally confessed to sexting with another woman.

"I love you. Thank you for being my partner, my love, my best friend. You mean the world to me," Mike said with an arm wrapped around Paulina in the May 30, 2021 episode of "Shahs of Sunset". He added, "I learned a lot this year. It's been very hard for me, right? There's been a lot of struggles. And the one thing I really earned was that honesty is the best policy, right?"

Mike continued, "So, I wanted to take this time to apologize to all of you because I wasn't honest. Some of you were involved in a situation that had to do with me and Paulina." He then admitted, "I partook in inappropriate text messages with a female. And I tried to lie to you guys 'cause I was trying to save face."
