The 'Hung Up' songstress famously locked lips with the '...Baby One More Time' hitmaker when she was performing 'Hollywood' along with Christina Aguilera at the 2003 event.

AceShowbiz - Madonna has teased the idea of a joint tour with Britney Spears. When opening up about the plan, the "Hung Up" singer admitted that she wanted to recreate her infamous kiss with the "Toxic" songstress.

When hopping on Instagram Live on Wednesday, January 26, a fan asked the 63-year-old whether she would do a world tour again. In response, she exclaimed, "Hell yeah. I have to. Stadium baby. Me and Britney."

"Not sure if she'd be into it, but it would be really cool. We could like, reenact the original [kiss]," Madonna added. She was referring to her and Britney's smooch at the 2003 MTV Video Music Awards.

Madonna and Britney shared a kiss during their opening performance for the event. The former was singing her single "Hollywood" when she leaned over Justin Timberlake's ex. After kissing Britney, Madonna locked lips with Christina Aguilera who was also onstage.

Madonna has been a longtime supporter of Britney. When the "...Baby One More Time" hitmaker was fighting to end her 13-year conservatorship, which now has ended, the ex-wife of Sean Penn joined the #FreeBritney movement.

"Give this woman her life back. Slavery was abolished so long ago! Death to the greedy patriarchy that has been doing this to women for centuries," she argued on Instagram. "This is a violation of human rights! Britney we coming to get you out of jail!"

As for Christina, she previously decided to stay mum on Britney's conservatorship, prompting the latter to slam the "Genie in a Bottle" singer. However, earlier this month, Christina made it clear that she always supports her fellow Mickey Mouse Club alum.

"I will always be here to reach out to," the 41-year-old musician said during an interview with "The Enrique Santos Show", which was released on Friday, January 21. "I love, you know, being able to connect like that with other women … it's very important, now more than ever, now that we do have the ability to connect, that that happens and that we always feel unified."
