In her new lengthy Instagram post, the '...Baby One More Time' hitmaker reveals that 'not doing music anymore is my way of saying 'F**k You' ' to her family.

AceShowbiz - Britney Spears has yet to be done slamming her family. Explaining the reason why she took a long musical hiatus, the "...Baby One More Time" hitmaker claimed that working only "benefits" her family.
"I guess it seems odd to most now why I don't even do my music anymore," the 40-year-old penned in a lengthy Instagram post. "That's just the surface issues. People have no idea the awful things that were done to me personally...and after what I've been through, I'm scared of people and the business!!!!"
Britney went on to stress that "not doing music anymore is my way of saying 'F**k You' in a sense when it only actually benefits my family by ignoring my real work." She added, "It's like I've subconsciously let them win."
Elsewhere in her note, the "Toxic" songstress admitted that she "stopped believing in God" three years ago because she felt "hurt for no reason." She elaborated, "My family was hurting me. I went into a state of shock and the way I coped was being [in] fake denial. It was too much to really face."
Britney, however, eventually realized how the power of prayer has helped her going through diversity. Now that her conservatorship has ended, the Grammy Award-winning pop icon is ready to move forward with her life.
Britney also revealed her goal for 2022. She disclosed, "My goal for this year is to push myself a bit more and do things that scare me but not too much. I do know what makes me happy and brings me joy and I try to meditate on those places and thoughts that enable me to experience it!!!!!"
The post came just a few days after Britney teased new music on Instagram. Posting a video of her belting out sky-high notes in a bathroom, the "Oops!... I Did It Again" songstress announced, "Pssss new song in the works… I'm gonna let you know what I mean."
