The 'Watch What Happens Live' host reveals that he is 'so happy' as his test result came back negative for the coronavirus after finishing his 10-day quarantine.

AceShowbiz - Andy Cohen is recovering after he caught COVID-19 for the second time. The "Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen" host has revealed that he is "all better now" following his secret battle with the coronavirus.

"I am so happy I could cry right now," the 53-year-old TV personality said during the Monday, December 20 episode of SiriusXM's "Radio Andy", adding that he's currently on the 10th day of quarantine. He continued, "I had COVID. That's why we were gone all last week. And the best news is I woke up this morning to a negative PCR test."

Andy went on saying that he's feeling "all better now" after he felt "pretty sick." The Bravo producer's symptoms happened to coincide with the moment he received his booster shot. "I thought that I was sick from the booster, that I was having a reaction to the booster," he explained. "And then two days later, I was like, 'Wait a minute, this is quite a big reaction.' "

Andy didn't elaborate on his symptoms this time around. As he already finished his quarantine, he will soon be reunited with his son, Benjamin, as he had to stay away from the 2-year-old.

"People were wondering where we were this week and what was going on with our odd 'Watch What Happens Live'. I just didn't show up a few nights. We had one episode that was pre-taped – or two episodes that were pre-taped – that aired, so people were very confused," Andy shared. "So that's what was going on."

This wasn't the first time Andy put his COVID diagnosis under public scrutiny. Back in March 2020, he explained why he wanted to keep his health issue private. "I felt like I wanted to recuperate quietly," he said at the time.

Andy also needed about 11 days to recover from COVID last year. "It took about 10 or 11 days, I would say, to work through my system. You know, It takes a bit to get your energy back," he noted, before adding, "I took a lot of Tylenol, a lot of Vitamin C and liquids."
