When slamming Epic Records in a social media post, the '9 Bridge' rapper alleges that the label has not paid him for his music since 2014 and claims that he has lost his patience.

AceShowbiz - Rowdy Rebel has called out his label. Revealing that he hasn't received any check for his music for years, the "9 Bridge" rapper declared that he won't release new projects until Epic Records pays him.

The 30-year-old emcee aired out his frustration on Instagram Story on Tuesday, December 14. "I'm not dropping no more music until @epicrecords pay me," he first announced in a since-deleted post.

"I haven't received not one check for all the music I put out since 2014," the Brooklyn native, whose real name is Chad Marshall, went on fuming. "I been patient but enough is enough."

Rowdy's post did not go unnoticed by fellow musician Meek Mill. Sharing a screenshot of the former's statement on his own Instagram Story, the "Going Bad" spitter suggested him, "Drop mixtapes!!!!"

Meek seemingly could relate to Rowdy's case since he previously slammed his label as well. "i haven't get paid from music and i don't know how much money labels make off me!!!!! i need lawyers asap!!!" he argued in a since-deleted October 25 tweet.

Meek further stressed, "ask the record label? how much have you spent on me as a artist? then you ask how much have you made off me as a artist? i'm about to make my record deal public by monday just to let the world see what these people on!!!" However, he did not mention whether he was referring to Maybach Music Group and/or Atlantic Records.

Fans assumed that Meek seemingly referred his posts to Maybach Music Group (MMG), which was founded by Rick Ross in 2009. On the reason why, Meek, who signed with the label in 2011, allegedly banned the latter from his birthday party back in May.

DJ Akademiks shared at the time, "There is an artist that's signed to another artist... The artist that's signed to another artist, they were having a party. The artist they're signed to allegedly tried to enter the party and go about certain places, and I heard that there was a big issue." He added, "One of your favorite artists who's claiming that they're 'lit,' they're a 'boss,' they do 'whatever' - they're signed to another n***a."

"And allegedly, they're beefing with the other n***a cuz they're tryna get off the label," the Internet personality added. "I hear they want off the label. This been a ongoing conversation. The n***a who they're signed to showed up to their party, [and] they were not happy. When that person showed up, there was issues."

Rick himself has addressed beef rumors between him and Meek. "I feel like we're both hustlers," he told Carl Lamarreon in an interview earlier this month. "That's one thing about life, you either grow together or grow apart."
