The actress, who played Samantha Jones on 'Sex and the City', reacts to some fan tweets about her decision not to join HBO Max's reboot series of the popular show.

AceShowbiz - Kim Cattrall may not be on "And Just Like That...", but it's seemingly safe to assume that she's keeping tabs on the series. On Sunday, December 12, the actress reacts to some fan tweets about her character Samantha Jones' absence on the "Sex and the City" reboot series.

After "And Just Like That..." soon after it premiered on HBO Max on Thursday, December 9, Kim was caught liking some fan tweets about her decision not to join the reboot. One of the tweets that the actress liked read, "@KimCattrall I am such a fan. With the #SATC reboot happening, they keep bringing you up. I applaud you for making choices that are right for you. You are not required to do anything you don't want to do or that won’t make you happy. Looking forward to you on #QAF happy holidays!"

The fan added, "I respect @KimCattrall comments about having moved on from the character and the show and wanting to do other things. I think she was unfairly criticized for referring to her co-stars as colleagues and not friends. In any other work environment, that would be respected."

Another tweet she liked was a tweet from publicist Emily Shapiro which saw the latter listing off "pop culture news items" that was "over." The list included, "Kim Cattrall not being in the SATC reboot." A third tweet that the actress liked was from a fan who stated that "Kim Cattrall didn’t return to SATC because her scatting career is finally taking off."

Kim has been vocal about not wanting to return to "SATC" franchise amid her feud with former co-star Sarah Jessica Parker. SPOILER ALERT! On the new series, Sarah's Carrie revealed that Samantha left for London after they had a fallout after the former let the other go as her publicist.

"I told her that because of what the book business is now, it just didn't make sense," Carrie shared with Miranda (Cynthia Nixon), adding, "for me to keep her on as a publicist. She said fine, and then fired me as a friend." She added that Samantha stopped returning her calls, to which Miranda replied, "You know Samantha, her pride got damaged."

Carrie mentioned that she actually tried to reach out to Samantha numerous times, to no avail. "Look, I understand that she was upset, but I thought I was more to her than an ATM," she complained. Carrie then added, "I always thought the four of us would be friends forever."
