Donning a black cat suit with cutouts, the 'Malibu' singer says before she starts singing a cover of Yvonne Fair's 'Should Have Been Me', 'Pete Davidson, this song is for you.'

AceShowbiz - Miley Cyrus thought she should be the one with Pete Davidson instead of Kim Kardashian. The "Wrecking Ball" hitmaker stopped by "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" on Thursday, December 9 to perform a cover of Yvonne Fair's "It Should Have Been Me" while hilariously trolling guest Pete in the process.

Donning a black cat suit with cutouts, Miley said before she started singing, "Pete Davidson, this song is for you. When I saw those photos, this is what I play." To that, the "Saturday Night Live" star responded, "Oh, thank you!"

"I said, it should have been me -- ohhhhh, it should been me," she belted out, before questioning, "Pete, how you gonna do this to me?" At one point, the "Malibu" singer went over to approach the comedian and snatched his cap.

Miley than quipped, "It should have been me in that Lamborghini leaving that nice a- restaurant," referring to Pete and the former "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star's recent outing to Santa Monica’s famed Giorgio Baldi. At the time, Pete allegedly sported what seemed to be a hickey when they left the eatery in Pete's Lamborghini SUV.

Further making Pete blushed, Miley added, "I want to watch a movie in freaking Staten Island…oh yeah, it should have been me." She went on to sing, "Baby, how could you do this to me?"

Pete and Kim first sparked dating rumors after they were picturing hanging out together following her appearance on "SNL". The pair, who were reported to be officially dating, were also pictured together while celebrating the comedian's 28th birthday at Kris Jenner's home. In photos shared by Flavor Fav, the pair were matching in plaid pajamas from Kim's SKIMS line while joined by the momager and the rapper.
