In her latest video, the social media star tells her 5 million subscribers that she is taking a break from making contents for her channel as she has gotten into 'a bad head space.'

AceShowbiz - Jaclyn Hill has an announcement for her 5-million-plus loyal subscribers. In a video she shared on Tuesday, December 7, the social media star revealed that she decided to step back from YouTube as she wants to focus on her mental health.

"I really have gotten into a bad head space. I know the reason why is because I used to be very consistent about therapy. I completely stopped the second that COVID hit," the 31-year-old explained in her latest YouTube video, adding that she didn't feel safe going out amid the pandemic. "I just stopped and I never picked it back up and that's my bad. Now it's been like almost two years," she continued, before explaining her struggle with anxiety.

Jaclyn told the viewers, "I personally in this moment am focused 100% on my mental health." She shared, "I'm going to therapy a couple of times a week now…I'm also currently building a gym in my home."

Jaclyn went on to encourage her fans to take extra good care of themselves during the holiday season as saying, "I just really want to encourage you guys during this holiday season to take care of yourself, and that's not just about the way you're eating."

Jaclyn then advised her fans to provide nourishment for their "mind, body and soul." She said, "It's so easy to let yourself go during the holiday season in more ways than one and then on January 1st, you feel like crap and then you have these unrealistic expectations and we set these New Year's resolutions that we don't actually stick to because we haven't set ourselves up for success."

"I would encourage you guys to check in with yourself throughout the holiday season, make healthy choices for your brain, for your mental health, for your body," Jaclyn continued. She then concluded her 22-minute video by telling her viewers to "try to take care of yourself starting now – that way it's not so brutal come January."
