AceShowbiz - Cardi B has reacted to a report saying that she must submit a sexually transmitted disease test for a defamation lawsuit against YouTube blogger Latasha Kebe. Taking to her social media account, the "Bodak Yellow" hitmaker slammed the "random a**" article.

"I don't know why this random a** article is coming out when the test results been turn [sic] to her lawyers 3 months ago," the 29-year-old tweeted alongside a screenshot of a news article. She added, "The judge got and approved the test results 2 weeks ago for trial."

In the article, it's written, "...defamation lawsuit. Monday's order was sought by Kebe's attorneys, but an attorney for Cardi B told Billboard on Tuesday (Nov. 23) that the same tests had already been voluntarily disclosed earlier in the case." The report also stated that the test result will be used "as evidence in favor of the rapper's accusations."

Cardi sued Latasha for $75,000 in 2019 for spreading rumors that she has herpes in multiple vlogs that garnered millions of views. "None of the aforementioned statements about the plaintiff are true. Plaintiff was never a prostitute or a user of cocaine," the suit stated. "Plaintiff has never, and does not now, have herpes, nor has she had herpes outbreaks on her mouth."

More recently, U.S. District Judge William Ray ordered the Center for Women's Pelvic Health at UCLA in Los Angeles to send him "any and all medical records" related to Cardi's herpes and human papillomavirus (HPV) tests. Following the judge order, Cardi's attorney Lisa Moore insisted that her client "does not have HPV and herpes."

"Two of the defamatory statements at issue are the vile, false, and highly offensive statements by the defendant that my client has herpes and HPV," Lisa added. She went on to explain further that Cardi and her legal team "provided these records 14 months ago" in support of the raptress' claims.

As for Latasha, her lawyer Sadeer Sabbak said in a statement on November 24, "We have no comment about the order for plaintiff's medical records, specifically. We are continuing to prepare for jury trial."
