'You guys sent a 10-minute song to Number One for the first time in history,' raves the 'Christmas Tree Farm' after her revamped song landed her back at the top of the Billboard pop chart.

AceShowbiz - Taylor Swift is back at the top of the U.S. pop charts thanks to her revamped, 10-minute "All Too Well".

The track becomes Swift's eighth Billboard Hot 100 number one and lands the singer another U.S. chart double - her new album, "Red (Taylor's Version)", is also number one on the Billboard 200 albums chart.

"All Too Well" was initially released in 2012 and spent just a week on the Hot 100 - at number 80. It has since become such a fan favorite, Taylor extended the track to 10 minutes and directed a short film, starring Sadie Sink and Dylan O'Brien, to accompany the reboot.

The song becomes the 58th to enter the countdown at number one in the 63-year history of the Hot 100, but it's the first 10-minute tune to hit the top of the U.S. charts.

"You guys sent a 10-minute song to Number One for the first time in history," Swift raved on Instagram on Monday, November 22.

The chart news comes a day after Swift extended her record as the most successful American Music Awards artist on Sunday night, November 21, picking up two trophies to take her tally to 34.

Meanwhile, Taylor's return to the top of the U.S. albums chart with "Red (Taylor's Version)", gives her a 10th number one and makes her just the second woman in history to land 10 or more chart-toppers. Only Barbra Streisand has more, with 11.

In total, 26 songs from the new album have debuted on the Billboard Hot 100, starting at number one and dropping down to 90. That beats her own record for the most simultaneously charted Hot 100 entries among women by eight hits - a mark Summer Walker tied last week.

Swift's latest chart success trails only Drake's 27 hits from "Scorpion" for a week back in July 2018.
