AceShowbiz - Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson are reportedly making things official between them, a little over a month after hanging out together. The reality TV star and the comedian are in an exclusive relationship, according to Page Six.
Confirming their newfound romance, a source reveals how the two end up together. "Kim really needs laughter in her life right now and has incredibly strong feelings for Pete," the source tells HollywoodLife.com.
As Kim has been dealing with her divorce from Kanye West, she is reportedly looking for a change of pace and the "Saturday Night Live" star is probably what she needs. "She just wants to laugh and have a great time right now. She needs to have some fun," the source explains.
"Things have been heavy in her life with the divorce and everything. She wants something very different than what she had with Kanye," the source adds. "Although Kim is taking things one day at a time, she's having a blast with Pete and plans on continuing to see him."
Kim and Pete have been spending time together since she was preparing for her hosting debut on "SNL". The two even shared a lingering kiss in a sketch of the show's October 9 episode. However, it wasn't until their fun night out at California's Knott's Berry Farm over the weekend that they were hit with dating rumors. At the time, they were pictured holding hands while riding a rollercoaster.
A source initially told PEOPLE that they were "just friends" who "hang in the same circles," but they fueled their dating rumors with several outings while the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" alum in New York earlier this month.
Most recently, the two were pictured together while celebrating Pete's 28th birthday at Kim's mom Kris Jenner's Palm Springs home. They wore matching plaid pajamas from Kim's SKIMS line while joined by the momager and rapper Flavor Fav.
