The 'Grey's Anatomy' star takes to his Instagram account to share that he and girlfriend Lindsay Rae Hofmann have welcomed their daughter, whose name is Pfeiffer Lucia Speedman.

AceShowbiz - Scott Speedman is officially a dad. The "Grey's Anatomy" star took to his Instagram account on Thursday, November 4 to announce that he and girlfriend Lindsay Rae Hofmann welcomed their daughter, whose name is Pfeiffer Lucia Speedman.
In the new post, Scott treated his followers to a couple of photos of him with his newborn child. One of them saw the actor lovingly stared at his baby, who was sleeping soundly under a warm blanket. The other picture, meanwhie, featured the "Animal Kingdom" star holding his baby.
"Pfeiffer Lucia Speedman. Born at home 10/26/21. In awe of my girl @lindsayraehofmann. Awe," so Scott wrote in the caption.
His famous friends flooded his comment section with congratulatory messages. Among those who congratulated him were fellow "Animal Kingdom" stars Jake Weary and Shawn Hatosy. "congrats buddy," Jake commented, while Shawn wrote, "Wow beautiful! Congratulations, my friend." Len Wiseman, who created "Underwood" movie series in which Scott starred as Michael Corvin, said, "Awe.. I mean.. come on."
Fans also expressed their excitement over the news. "Congratulations. She is beautiful !! So happy for you. Enjoy every moment they go by so fast," someone said. "Pure love!! So so happy for you both!! Can't wait for Ryan to meet her lil bestie Pfeiff ," another person added.
Lindsay also took to her own page to announce the arrival of their daughter. "Our beautiful daughter was born at home on October 26th at 8:33am weighing 6.6lb," Lindsay explained. "Pfeiffer, for her heart to always feel connected to the nature and sea & Lucia, to forever be our little 'light.' "
Prior to this, Scott opened up about how he and his girlfriend had been preparing for a home birth. "We had to go pick up the tub from who just happens to be our neighbor; we don't know these people," he told host Drew Barrymore during an appearance on "The Drew Barrymore Show" on October 18.
"I just knocked on the door and this guy just delivered this tub and now I am in charge of blowing it up and getting water in and all of that stuff," the actor continued. "It's kind of a weird experience, I'm not gonna lie."
