AceShowbiz - Wendy Osefo has just had one of parents' nightmares. The reality TV star's 2-year-old daughter Kamryn recently had a medical emergency that led to the little girl being rushed to the hospital and forced her to cancel her scheduled appearance on "The Real".
"The Real Housewives of Potomac" star took to Instagram to open up about the ordeal on Thursday morning, October 28. Along with a picture of her holding her daughter, who was wearing a breathing device and gips on her hand, in what looks like a hospital, she wrote, "One minute I'm headed to LA to be a guest on @therealdaytime and the next minute I have to rush my daughter to the Emergency Room."
She continued in the caption, "When life gives you lemons (no matter how bitter it is) you make a glass of lemonade." The mother of three didn't divulge why her daughter was rushed to the hospital, but she appeared to be doing better after spending a week in the ICU. "Thankful that my @kamrynnkapri is making a full recovery, but spending a week in the ICU really puts life in perspective," she shared.
Wendy then sent a message to her "RHOP" co-star Ashley Darby, who would still appear on "The Real" on Thursday without her. "Goodluck to my RHOP sisters and @ashleyboalchdarby for holding it down in my absence," she said.
The 37-year-old also extended her gratitude to the medical team who has taken care of her daughter, writing, "Special thank you to the AMAZING doctors and nurses in the Pediatric ICU for making our stay as comfortable as possible. God is a healer."
Wendy shares her daughter Kamryn with her husband Eddie Osefo, whom she married in August 2011. Together, the couple also has two sons, Karter and Kruz.
