When speaking about the Wes Anderson-directed comedy movie, the Margot Tenenbaum depicter shares that it brings back such fond memories of her late father Bruce Paltrow.

AceShowbiz - Gwyneth Paltrow enjoys watching herself in "The Royal Tenenbaums" because the film reminds her of her late dad.

The Oscar-winning actress starred alongside Owen Wilson, Gene Hackman, and Ben Stiller in the Wes Anderson-directed movie, and she reveals it brings back such fond memories of her father Bruce Paltrow, who died from complications of cancer and pneumonia in 2002.

"I have a memory of my dad visiting," Gwyneth tells USA Today. "He came the day that we did a scene where I'm getting off the bus... and my dad was there. It was a very special day."

The star typically hates watching herself on screen, but she's happy to make an exception for the comedy. "It's kind of, like, the only scene that I can watch of myself of my whole career," she says.

The Goop founder previously admitted to taking fashion tips from her dad, revealing he was a much better shopper than her mum, Blythe Danner.

"He always said to buy things of great quality, and look after that," she recalled. "Whenever he would wear a cashmere cable knit sweater, he would put it back in a plastic bag with a little cedar chip in it. He kept his shoes and nice items bagged. He really looked after his things."

Aside from her memories of her father, Gwyneth also remembers fondly a "Tenenbaums" scene she had with co-star Gene. "I really loved the scene of Gene and I in the ice cream parlor," she gushes. "Doing that was really like a partner highlight for me, to do that scene with him, even though he was a little intimidating. He was sweet to me and that was really special."
