Now, some are speculating that Tory Lanez might be the one who hurt the female rapper's legs, and people get even more convinced that this speculation is true after her producer, Max Julian, threatened Tory.
Shortly after Megan released her statement, Max took to Twitter to post a message directed at Tory that read, "Count your f***ing days." He deleted the tweet afterwards, but it was already too late since many people already read the post and re-shared it online, prompting more people to assume Tory was the one who shot Megan. "If y'all don't get it by now Tory shot Megan," a convinced individual said.
In addition to that, gossip blogger Tasha K claimed that it all happened because Megan allegedly wanted to break up with Tory. However, the R&B singer apparently didn't accept it and pulled out the gun to show he was "big and bad." That was when the gun accidentally went off and injured the "Savage" hitmaker's leg.
Megan has yet to respond to this speculation.
Megan made headlines after she issued a statement claiming that her injuries were from gunshot. "On Sunday morning, I suffered gunshot wounds, as a result of a crime that was committed against me and done with the intention to physically harm me," she said. "I was never arrested, the police officers drove me to the hospital where I underwent surgery to remove the bullets."
"I'm currently focused on my recovery, so I can return back to my life and back to making music as soon as possible," Megan added. "This whole experience was an eye opener and a blessing in disguise. I hate that it took this experience for me to learn how to protect my energy."
There was also a speculation that Megan's best friend, Kelsey Nicole, was the one who shot her, but she was quick to debunk this rumor. "I want to clear up the rumors that I shot Megan. I WASN'T the one with the gun and would never do something like that," she said. "However, I was present."
