AceShowbiz - "Black Ink Crew: Chicago" star Charmaine Walker landed in hot water after she tried to make a funny video in the expense of her baby. Instead of getting praises for the controversial video, the TV star earned backlash instead.

In the said clip, Charmaine took part in a water bottle trend with her newborn baby. The challenge saw people jerking their bodies to the beat of a sound. They would splash water from the bottle to their young children. However, people seemingly thought that her using an infant for the video was too much as her baby could be seen struggling because of the water.

"Her stupid a** don't deserve a baby what was so damn funny you could have drowned the baby dumb a**," one naysayer commented after watching the clip. Another critic added, "Throw some water n her face!! She cud og drowned that baby. Now hope the ppl Don't come get her for baby in dangerment. Say u don't care."

"Somebody needs to get her some help and get that baby before she hurts him," someone else urged. Another user noted, "I know it was suppose to be a tik tok but it don't take much for the baby to drown, it could go down the wrong way. Love you. No disrespect. I know you love your baby. Be careful."

In response to the child abuse allegations, Charmaine took to her Instagram account to clear things up. "Recently, I thought it would be funny to do a TikTok Challenge with my family. Well, I was wrong about that one!" she began her statement.

"It turned out not to be funny at all once I received backlash and realized it could have been dangerous. I felt so misunderstood because I couldn't believe people would think I would harm my precious child !" she continued. "I would never put her in any danger like that. She had a reaction to water splashing her similar to the kids in the other tik tok challenges... I apologize to anyone I have offended, but one thing for sure and two things for certain..... I'm a great mom."
