AceShowbiz - Rocker Paul Rodgers has assured fans he's "very much alive" after some media outlets confused him and fellow Bad Company frontman Brian Howe, who passed away after suffering a cardiac arrest on Wednesday, May 06.
Howe replaced Rodgers in the band but some reports suggested the wrong singer had died, prompting Paul to set the record straight on Thursday.
He posted a short video message on social media, stating, "Hi. It's Paul Rodgers here. It's May the 7th, 2020. The reports of my demise are greatly exaggerated. I'm happy to say that I'm very much alive. Yeah. Take care of yourselves and each other. I hope to play for you again soon. Thanks for caring. I feel the love."
Howe fronted Bad Company for eight years from 1986.
