AceShowbiz - Britney Spears snuck in a final visit to her family in Louisiana before the lockdown guidelines were imposed in Los Angeles, her sister Jamie Lynn Spears has revealed.

The 38-year-old "Toxic" singer has been posting workout clips and fashion videos on her social media pages as she gets through the lockdown alongside her two sons at her LA home. But prior to official social distancing rules being put in place, Britney managed to get back to her family home to spend time with her loved ones.

"Britney was like, 'I want to come home, I don't want to be by myself out here,' because all of her family's pretty much here," Jamie Lynn told Entertainment Tonight. "So she was able to come home for almost two weeks or so."

"But then, of course, she has her children and all that stuff and her home, so she went back to Los Angeles just a couple weeks ago."

Jamie Lynn added that she and Britney both thought the lockdown wouldn't be continuing for much longer, explaining, "I think she went back with the intentions of like, this was only going to be another week or so, and then they added on more time."

But until she can see her sibling again, Jamie Lynn is doing her best to appreciate the time she has with the rest of her family during these unprecedented times.

"We're all just trying to abide by the rules and do what we're supposed to do. Having our family has been the biggest blessing, too. I mean, we're driving each other absolutely insane, about things you wouldn't normally get mad about, but at the end of the day, at least we have each other, you know? That's been really fortunate," she smiled.
