The 'Girls Need Love' singer documents her trip to the nail salon on her Finstagram account, showing how the staff in charge made her nails look pretty again.

AceShowbiz - It's truly been hard for a lot of people as they are forced to stay at home to prevent COVID-19 from spreading even further. Some people need to get their hair and nails done after so long, and Summer Walker is among them. Some people are not fond of her after learning that the singer still went to a nail salon despite the pandemic.

Summer documented her trip to the nail salon on her Finstagram account, showing how the staff in charge made her nails look pretty again. As a countermeasure, she wore a pair of gloves that have holes in the fingertips part, seemingly wanting to let people know that it's still safe to get your nails done.

However, a lot of them apparently didn't feel the same and went on to criticize Summer over her choice. "So what’s the purpose of the gloves," one asked, as another dubbed her "dumb" for ever doing such a thing. Meanwhile, someone was being sarcastic, "Wow.. This is smart she just touched the gloves that she used to keep the virus away just to . .. Nvm it’s genius."

"Why y’all so desperate to show the world y’all not helping with flattening the curve?" one expecially wondered, as another person said, "Y’all worry about looks over health this selfishness gotta stop it’s not just about y’all it’s about us in who can all catch it from people spreading it." There was also an individual who noted, "But this prevents NOTHING. She might as well kept the gloves off."

Summer has yet to respond to the backlash.

In the U.S. alone, there are already more than a million confirmed Coronavirus cases while over 200,000 have died from the virus. Most recently, University of Washington's Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation raised its projected death toll to approximately 74,000 by August 4.
