The 'Shape of You' hitmaker spends his days during the coronavirus lockdown tending to crops and livestock with his wife Cherry Seaborn on their sprawling Suffolk estate.

AceShowbiz - Ed Sheeran has reportedly turned into a keen gardener while spending time on his sprawling Suffolk estate amid the coronavirus lockdown.

The "Shape of You" hitmaker, 29, is said to be enjoying time in isolation with his wife Cherry Seaborn, 27, by tending to their land and growing organic fruit and vegetables, such as strawberries, potatoes, lettuce and carrots, in a greenhouse in the grounds of their $4.6 million estate.

According to Britain's The Sun newspaper, Ed has also been raising chickens, and plans to add sheep and goats to his livestock collection.

"They are both passionate about organic food and in these troubled times it's nice to know they can get produce straight from the garden," a local source told the publication.

"Ed spends hours out there tending all his crops, it is a simple pleasure for him away from the madness of the music world."

The isolation period comes at an opportune moment for the star, who announced a career break late last year 2019 after wrapping his mammoth, two-year "Divide Tour".
