AceShowbiz - Singer Kalie Shorr has become the latest country star to test positive for the coronavirus.
The 25-year-old "Fight Like a Girl" star has opened up about her diagnosis on Twitter, revealing she had a "miserable" first few days of sickness and pain.
"My entire body was in pain, and my fever was like riding a wave," she writes. "I completely lost my sense of taste and smell.
"Despite being quarantined (except for a handful of trips for groceries) for three weeks, I managed to contract COVID-19. I'm feeling significantly better, but it's proof how dangerous and contagious this is. It's endlessly frustrating to see people not taking this seriously."
Shorr joins Laura Bell Bundy and John Prine among the country singers who are battling COVID-19, while veteran singer Joe Diffie died on Sunday, March 29 after contracting the virus.
