AceShowbiz - Megan Thee Stallion's "B.I.T.C.H." track samples Tupac Shakur's classic song "Ratha Be Ya N***a". In a new interview, the Hot Girl Summer reveals the reason she borrows the beat from the late rap legend, noting that she can see herself in him.
"I super love Tupac. N.I.G.G.A. is like on my playlist, so, I'm just listening to it and I'm like, Hell nah. This would sound good if a girl really flipped it," she shared in a recent sit-down with Genius for their Verified series.
Megan went on saying that she and the late rapper were somehow similar. "I really like the way Tupac speaks. Like, his cadence. His flow. He's just very dominant. He just give big talk energy and I just feel like I do the same," she noted. "When he talkin', he just really be talkin' that s**t that I like. I feel like when my Hotties listenin' to me, that's how they feel."
In the interview, Megan also shared that unlike the lyrics of the song off her "Suga" album, she never fought another woman over a man. The star also hinted that one of her exes was trying to control her while they were together, though she didn't name names.
Megan was able to talk about various things in the wide-ranging interview. Prior to this, she defended her love of twerking, saying, "I love to throw my a**. I love to shake my a**. That's one of my favorite things to do."
"And I be seeing motherf***ers be like, 'All you do is shake yo' a**.' I be like, 'Damn. Actually, I got to school and I rap and sometime I be cookin',' " she shared. "I'm a dog mom. I'm an awesome friend. It's not all I be doing, it's just that maybe when you loggin' in, you came to see me twerk, 'cause you ain't see that freestyle I just dropped? I can rap and twerk."
