AceShowbiz - Shawn Mendes made Camila Cabello's special day an unforgettable one. The "Stitches" hitmaker has flown from Toronto to the U.K. to surprise his girlfriend and "Senorita" collaborator with a sweet Cinderella-themed party in celebration of her 23rd birthday.
While Shawn has yet to share anything related to the bash on social media, Camila treated fans to a look inside her birthday bash. Via her Instagram Story handle, the "Havana" hitmaker shared footage of her dancing and having fun with friends at the Blackpool Tower in London. For the special occasion, she donned a purple crop top and a pair of black joggers.
The former member of Fifth Harmony, who is currently in England to film a musical remake of "Cinderella", also showed off her pumpkin carriage-shaped birthday cake as well as an ice sculpture of a glass slipper. One of her shared clips captured Shawn standing by the window, while another one documented the moment before she blew candles.
Among the party guests was "Cinderella" director Kay Cannon. Taking to her own photo-sharing platform account, the 45-year-old filmmaker gave out a photo of Camila's surprised face when she walked into the party with smiling Shawn. "Sweet @camila_cabello turns 23 today!!! Celebratin' 'Cinderella' style," she dished. "Happy bday, Cinders!!!!!"
Another guest, "Les Miserables" actor Fra Fee, put out a photo of him posing with Camila and Shawn at the bash and two photos of Camila with a slice of her birthday cake among others. "HAPPY BIRTHDAY to the bloody beautiful legend @camila_cabello ... 23 today ... I mean... these kids," he gushed in the caption.
Camila herself has made use of her birthday to "bring attention to one of the worst humanitarian crises happening in the world right now, in Syria." In a lengthy Instagram post, she thanked her followers for the birthday wishes before encouraging them to support Save the Children in celebration of her milestone.
"950,000 people have been forced to flee their homes because of the violence in Idlib - some with only the clothes on their backs. Most of them are children," she detailed. "Now, they're living in displacement camps in freezing cold temperatures. families shouldn't have to choose between dying from bombs or freezing cold temperatures."
"Save the Children is working to provide displaced families with food, blankets and warmth. They are trying to keep kids families safe, but they need our help. so for my birthday, it would mean the world to me if you would consider supporting Save the Children's response to this humanitarian crisis," she added. "Go to savethechildren.org to help Save the Children reach children in need."
Hours before she turned 23, Camila set Internet abuzz by uploading her "first internet nude" on Instagram. However, the so-called nude was actually a throwback photo of her when she was just a-couple-month-old baby. It captured her younger self being covered with a blue blanket.
