The 'Sonic the Hedgehog' star gets flirty with Heat Magazine journalist Charlotte Long during an interview for his new movie, saying she's the only thing left on his 'bucket list.'

AceShowbiz - Jim Carrey has landed in hot water over his flirty interaction with a female journalist. The funnyman was interviewed by Heat Magazine's Charlotte Long about his new movie "Sonic the Hedgehog" when he was asked about what's left on his bucket list, and his answer has caused outrage on Twitter.
"I know your film 'Sonic' has a bucket list, and I was wondering after all you've done in your career and your life, is there anything still left on your bucket list?" Charlotte asked the actor, who replied, "Just you. That's it. It's all done now."
Charlotte was clearly taken aback as she said with an awkward laugh, "I don't know what to say to that." Jim said while also laughing, "Just own it."
The female journalist, however, managed to handle it like a pro and carry on with the interview by asking the next question, "What's been your best bucket list moment in your life when you look back as something you always wanted to achieve and you did it, and you think, 'Wow. I can't believe I did it.' "
He was more serious this time, answering the question, "There is so many things. Honest to God they just keep coming. I asked early on for a lot. I made myself a $10 million check for services that would one day be rendered. That came true. I asked to do the kind of roles that keep reintroducing themselves to new generations of people and that came true. I'm just constantly pinching myself, I'm black and blue."
Watching a video of the interview, people couldn't help noting how "creepy" his remark to the interviewer was. "Look up 'sleazeball' in the dictionary and there's a photo of @JimCarrey," one called out the 58-year-old.
Another found it "unacceptable" that he talked to her like that, writing, "Such a huge [fan] of @jimcarrey but lost respect for him today. This is really unacceptable, I wish and hope he apologizes to you. But you handled it really well, more power to you!"
Someone else praised Charlotte while also slamming Jim, "You're a pro my dear. such a CREEP!" A fourth user similarly commented, "Whyyy is this kind of thing still going on? Well handled, you're a legend x."
"Unfortunately it turns out Jim Carrey is a massive sleazebag," read another comment. One other added, "Why is it ever necessary to do this? It’s so creepy, sleazy and unfair to someone conducting an official interview."
Some others, however, think there's nothing wrong with Jim's "flirty" remark. "There is nothing wrong with a little flirt. As long as he is not referring to vaginas and penises and extortion blackmail," one argued. Another saw it as a joke, "soooo.. obviously i'm one of the few that didn't see it as creepy? just @JimCarrey makin a joke... yeah, maybe not the best one. Still, kudos @CharlotteLLong for laughin it off & carrying on professionally like a champ."
Jim recently also came under fire for his comments on Margot Robbie which were deemed rude. During an appearance on "The Graham Norton Show" in late January, he suggested that the Australian actress owned her success to her good looks.
"I wanted to talk to you because you're amazing and I'm so excited for you," he said on the talk show. "It's incredible that you've gotten as far as you have with your obvious physical disadvantages," he sarcastically added, before turning to host Graham Norton and remarking, "That's just pure talent there."
