AceShowbiz - Mark Curry is showing his receipts. Further heating up his beef with fellow comedian Steve Harvey, he took to his Instagram account to offer evidences that Steve indeed stole tons of jokes from him for his show "Steve".
In the video that Mark uploaded, he compared one of the episodes of his 1990s TV sitcom "Hanging with Mr Cooper". During the episode, Mark was talking about how he would wear brown box to make himself look like UPS during Halloween.
Surprisingly, Steve did the exact same joke in a 2015 episode of his show. "Every Halloween, I had the same outfit on. Every year. I just had a brown box," he told the crown, before calling himself a "UPS man."
Mark's post arrives after Steve vehemently denied stealing materials from him. "Mark Curry need to grow up. Steve Harvey ain't been on stage since 2015," he recently said to The Hollywood Fix. He went on saying while strolling the streets in Los Angeles with Corey Gamble, "Ask Mark Curry what jokes he talking about, tell him to grow up, man."
When one of the cameramen told him that Mark probably referred to the time when Steve hosted NBC variety show "Little Big Shots", Steve responded, "Are you kidding me? And he still ain't said what joke it is. Get a life, get a career, do something, man."
The 62-year-old TV host went on saying that he didn't think it was necessary to have an on-stage truce with Mark. "I don't need a truce. He doesn't know what he's talking about, he's making stuff up, so I'm in peace. I'm good with it," he said.
Mark first ignited the beef when he accused Steve of stealing his jokes during his appearance on Fox Soul's "The Mike & Donny Show". "Steve stole my material on his show, so I had a beef on that," the "Hangin With Mr. Cooper" star said. "When he was on his bulls**t talk show that he had, he did all of my Halloween material one Halloween."
