After her rapper friend was discharged from the ICU and was placed on home rest, the 'Hot Girl Summer' hitmaker reveals their conversation when she visited him in the hospital.

AceShowbiz - Megan Thee Stallion has confirmed her pal French Montana is doing "great" as the rapper is placed on home rest following a stint in hospital for exhaustion.

The "Unforgettable" hitmaker spent the weekend in intensive care, days after police responded to a false robbery alarm at his home in Calabasas, California on November 21 and found him suffering from cardiac issues and nausea - before insisting he seeks immediate treatment.

After finally being discharged from the ICU on Thanksgiving (November 28), he was placed on four weeks' home rest - and "Hot Girl Summer" hitmaker Megan told E! News she's keeping an eye on her friend.

"He's great," she told the publication. "He's like, 'Megan, I just can't believe you came to see me (in the hospital on November 25).' And I'm like, 'Why would I not come see you, you're my friend!' So yeah, he's good."

The up-and-coming star previously took to social media to share a number of snaps of her and French in hospital, as she spent time with him on the ward when he was struck down with severe exhaustion and dehydration after flying to four countries in six days for work.

In a FaceTime chat with Zane Lowe on Apple Music's Beats 1, the musician opened up about his health scare on Friday, December 06 and lamented how his recovery process has affected his planned promotional schedule.

"You know, life come at you sometimes, get you down to your knees," he said. "That's what happened when you try to be too much of a rock star on your birthday. I turned up so much I ended up in the ICU."

Despite the setback, he dropped his latest record, "Montana", on Friday.
