AceShowbiz - New details about Lil Reese' shooting accident have made their way out online. A new report suggested that police has identified person of interest in the incident with Country Club Hills Public Safety Director William Brown making the announcement in a statement on Monday, November 25.
NBC 5 Chicago further revealed that police is currently waiting on an arrest warrant.
This arrives after Lil offered fans another update on his condition after the street shooting. The Chicago rapper, whose real name is Tavares Taylor, took to his Instagram account on Sunday, November 17 to unveil a picture of his gunshot wound to the neck.
Following the incident, the 26-year-old star received several stitches after he got shot in the incident and he showed the unbandaged wound in the uncensored image. Bragging about his survival, he captioned the snap, "Made 4 it Lifes a gamble I got hella luck."
The rapper is seemingly poised to have a million dollar-worth interview with VladTV. Reese tweeted, "Tell him I need a million for this story this s**t ain't fake or free s**t bigger [than] 50 Rick Ross and whoever els[e]." Vlad caught wind of this and responded by saying that he was happy the rapper survived the shooting, but added that nobody would pay "even 1% of $1 million for that interview."
Reese was shot in the neck on Monday, November 11 around 2:30 P.M. Central, in Country Club Hills, a suburb south of Chicago. He was taken to a nearby hospital by an unknown stranger and was later transferred from Advocate South Suburban Hospital to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where he was reported in critical condition.
He was released a few days later and went on Instagram Live to assure his fans that he's doing okay. Sporting a black hoodie that was zipped up to his nose, he didn't say anything in the clip and was bopping his head to Jon B's 1997 song "They Don't Know".
