The 'John Wick' actor becomes the face of a tumbleweed with halo light as he introduces himself as Sage to the SpongeBob Squarepants and his starfish sidekick Patrick.

AceShowbiz - Keanu Reeves will make a bizarre appearance in the new "Spongebob" film - as the face of a tumbleweed.
The star shows up in the new "The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge on the Run" trailer - and fans might be a little startled about his latest role.
"Hello. Call me Sage," the star tells SpongeBob and his best friend Patrick in the promo. "I'm made out of sage and I am a sage, so it works out pretty well."
The film, which also features Awkwafina, hits theatres next week, November 22.
Reeves has made a couple of other odd appearances in movies this year, showing up in "Toy Story 4" and playing a ridiculous version of himself in Ali Wong Netflix comedy "Always Be My Maybe".
