The Elena Gilbert of 'The Vampire Diaries' explains to her social media followers why she was sent to hospital over the weekend and assures them that she's fine.

AceShowbiz - Nina Dobrev gave update on her condition as fans expressed concerns when she was photographed in a hospital looking pale and unwell while breathing through an oxygen mask. The former star of "The Vampire Diaries" assured her followers that she was fine.
The brunette beauty posted on Instagram Stories, "A lot of people have expressed concern after seeing Julianne's story. I'm okay." She opened up that she was taken to hospital due to severe allergic reaction. She didn't reveal what allergies she was suffering from, but she said, "It's pretty routine/has happened to me quite a few times."
"Depending on the severity I sometimes go into anaphylactic shock as a result. But Jules was with me," she continued before adding that she had been discharged from hospital, "and the doctors at Cedars were AMAZING so back at home now, and I'm OK." She also thanked fans for their concerns, "Appreciate your thoughts, I'm fine, and I'll be fine!"
She then posted a video of her lounging on bed and giving a peace sign to the camera, "Swelling is basically gone. We're all good over here." She also gave a shout-out to her pal, "Love ya Jules. Thanks for being mom... again. Okeeee. Well, I'm going back to sleep."
Nina Dobrev was sent to emergency room on Sunday night, November 10. "Well, this is my night at the emergency room, on a Sunday night with... guess who!" Julianne wrote before posting pictures of Nina lying on the hospital bed. "Thank God I went to visit this little sheesh!"
Julianne initially kept Nina's identity secret by taking a snap of her own feet tucked under Nina's blanket. "At least they are good at sharing... My feet are freezing!" she quipped. Fans, however, quickly guessed correctly who the patient was due to their close relationship.
The "America's Got Talent" judge confirmed it by sharing a picture of her friend's face covered with huge glasses. Crystals were laid on her blanket as well. "Ohhhhhhh @nina Momma J's got you..crystals and all [yellow heart emojis]," she wrote in the caption.
