Aside from performing 'Follow God' from his newest album 'Jesus is King', the 'Stronger' hitmaker asks concertgoers to shout out the lyrics of 'Can't Tell Me Nothing' while he stands on stage.

AceShowbiz - Kanye West made a surprise appearance at Travis Scott (II)'s Astroworld Festival in Houston, Texas to perform his new single on Saturday, November 9.

The "Stronger" hitmaker came out during Scott's headlining set and performed "Follow God", from his latest album "Jesus is King".

During his appearance, the event DJ also played Kanye's 2007 hit, "Can't Tell Me Nothing". The rapper, who recently declared he will no longer perform secular music, didn't sing the song and instead let the crowd shout out the lyrics as he stood on stage.

West's appearance came hours after fans were left injured after a stampede broke out at the gates of the festival. Scott shared a video on his Instagram page, which showed several attendees jumping over barricades before knocking them over altogether.

According to local TV news outlet KHOU, some fans even brought bolt cutters to break through the barriers, and three people were rushed to a hospital, having suffered minor leg injuries after being trampled.
