The A$AP Mob member is scheduled to make his first performance in Sweden months after the rapper was sent to jail in the country following assault allegation.

AceShowbiz - A$AP Rocky is returning to Sweden to perform next month, his first visit to the country since he spent a month in jail there following an arrest for assault.

Rocky was incarcerated throughout July after being charged over an altercation on June 31, and was found guilty but freed and allowed to return home after receiving a suspended sentence.

The rapper announced he will return to the Swedish capital for a gig at the Ericsson Globe venue on December 11, with some of the profits from the concert going to local refugee support groups.

"After tremendous support from the Swedish fans, he returns to Stockholm for a long-awaited gig for all his supporters," promoters at Live Nation told Swedish outlet The Local.

The hip-hop star, real name is Rakim Mayers, made headlines after he and two members of his entourage were arrested for assaulting a man after he last performed in Stockholm.

He and his team claimed they acted in self-defence, but a district court found all three guilty of assault, handing down a suspended sentence and ordering them to pay the victim damages. Due to the time they served in detention, they avoided a custodial sentence.

Rocky was held for a month while police investigated the incident, as he was considered a "flight risk."

The case made headlines across the world after a number of stars, including Justin Bieber, Kanye West, and Kim Kardashian criticising the musician's detention, prompting U.S. President Donald Trump to lobby Sweden's Prime Minister for his release.
