The actor's failed ad-lib aside, Shaggy's Sebastian portrayal set tongues wagging as viewers of the Disney's live musical are taken aback with his minimalist 'crab' costume.

AceShowbiz - ABC aired the long-awaited "Little Mermaid Live!" on Tuesday, November 5. Starring Auli'i Cravalho, Queen Latifah and John Stamos among others, the Disney's live musical sent viewers into frenzy after the latter made flub during the show.

Stamos, who played Chef Louis, accidentally referred to Ariel's (Cravalho) love interest as Prince Albert, instead of Prince Eric. At the end of his "Les Poissons" performance, viewers could hear the "Fuller House" actor joking, "I knew I should have played Prince Albert." Stamos appeared to be doing some damage control by quickly adding, "or Eric."

But it seemed like it was too late because fans were quick to point out the mistake on Twitter. "Did @JohnStamos say 'Prince Albert' in the end and then say Prince Erik?" one confused viewer wrote on the blue bird app. "John stamos ad libbing a joke to only miss the punch line because he doesn't know prince Eric's name...," another one added with someone else saying, "John Stamos must have been feeling cute when he said he should have been Prince Albert, I mean Eric."

Some other fans thought that Stamos intentionally mentioned Prince Albert as the term is used to describe a certain genital piercing. Despite the flub, Stamos earned praises for his stunning performance.

Stamos' failed ad-lib aside, Shaggy's Sebastian portrayal set tongues wagging. Viewers were taken aback with his minimalist "crab" costume which didn't have one of the most important points: the claws. "So Shaggy couldn't get a costume? He just wore [Michael Jackson's] Thriller jacket huh. Ok, cool," one fan said of the "Hey Sexy Lady" singer's outfit. Another fan chimed in, "Shaggy probably didn't want to wear a costume but he at least could've worn the claws."
