The former One Direction member, freaked out by homeless stalker, reportedly decides to buy properties surrounding his house in order to feel safe again.

AceShowbiz - Harry Styles has reportedly splashed on neighbouring properties surrounding his London home to create a "fortress" against stalkers.

Last month, homeless man Pablo Tarazaga-Orero, 26, was found guilty of stalking the star after the singer offered him money and food, but was spared incarceration at a sentencing hearing at Hendon Magistrates' Court.

Instead, he has been handed a restraining order, banning him from entering Harry's postcode, going within 250 metres of him, attending any of his gigs, and sending him messages on social media. Tarazaga-Orero has also been ordered to complete a 12-month community order, a 30-day rehabilitation requirement, and pay $435 in total including $325 costs. If he breaks the strict conditions, he faces jail.

Appearing in court, the "Lights Up" hitmaker insisted he "would like to feel safe at home," and the star has apparently taken matters into his own hands, spending an estimated $24.6 million buying up property surrounding his $3.9 million home in a bid to feel safe.

Harry, 25, is also said to have CCTV that sends alerts to his phone and security guards 24/7 that are paid for by an insurance policy after he suffered a "threat to life."

A source told Britain's The Sun newspaper: "Harry's ordeal has left him petrified. Rather than be driven out of his home, he has taken steps to feel super-safe. His home is on a corner, and by buying the properties next to it and behind it, he feels untouchable. It's a fortress."
