The 'Never Been Kissed' actress has officially signed a deal with The Eye to be a host for a new television show which is scheduled to premiere in Fall 2020.

AceShowbiz - Drew Barrymore is adding daytime talk show host to her resume as the "50 First Dates" actress has got her own show. She is officially announced to serve as a host for a new daytime talk show at CBS.

"Drew is a huge star and a breath of fresh air - her show will energize any station's lineup," said chief operating and financial officer of CBS Global Distribution Group Steve LoCascio. "We're looking forward to working with Peter Dunn and the CBS Television Stations group to launch this premium show in fall 2020."

Barrymore gushed in a statement to Variety, "It is beyond my wildest dreams to have this opportunity for a daily talk show." She added, "I'm truly thrilled and honored to be creating this show with CBS."

The "Never Been Kissed" actress filmed a pilot for the upcoming show back in August. The show is expected to launch in Fall 2020.

Before signing a deal with The Eye, Drew Barrymore was in talks for a show with Warner Bros.' Telepictures in 2016 but it never came to fruition.
