'No Time to Die' producers have reportedly brought in the 'Fleabag' creator since they were terrified that the new film would seem dated after the #MeToo movement and several sexism scandals.

AceShowbiz - Phoebe Waller-Bridge is reportedly in line to write the script for a future "James Bond" movie.

The Fleabag creator was hired by 007 producers to finesse the script for the upcoming spy movie, "No Time to Die", which is currently shooting ahead of an April, 2020, release.

According to Britain's Daily Mail newspaper, the Emmy winning actress and writer has impressed producers, cast and crew so much that they want her to be involved with the next film - thought likely to be the first not to feature Daniel Craig as the British super spy.

An executive close to "No Time to Die"'s production says: "Phoebe's contribution was great - far greater than we'd anticipated. She's the saviour of Bond, really".

The insider adds that producers were terrified that the new Bond film would seem dated after the #MeToo movement and several scandals have put sexism in Hollywood in the spotlight.

"Ian Fleming's Bond is a red-blooded male, and to some ears he lives in such a misogynistic world we had to be sensitive to the changing moral landscape," the executive continues.

The source also reveals that the 34-year-old's presence helped smooth things over after a troubled start to production after the film's director, Danny Boyle, was replaced by Cary Joji Fukunaga.

"Phoebe's been having the best time; and the joy has sprinkled down," the insider explains. "At first, no one knew what was going on. Now everyone's happy. This is going to be a great Bond".
